Site Manager / Senior Fitter Tank Refurbishment

Your TASKS

• You will work in the environment of large tank farms and refineries of renowned chemical and petrochemical companies
• Leading a team of skilled workers in carrying out renovations and repairs to flat-bottom tanks
• Leak detection, testing and installation of vacuum false floors in accordance with our DIBt approval
• Implementation of repairs and inspection/refurbishment programs for flat-bottom tanks
• Technical guidance and support for the team with technical questions and problems
• Creating and maintaining reports and logs on the work carried out and results
• Interface between team, project manager and client
• Accompanying the acceptance with the expert
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations during the renovation work

Your profile

• Completed vocational training in metal construction, steel construction, plant mechanics or a comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge in the field of welding technology and metalworking
• Professional experience in the field of maintenance
• Several years of professional experience in the field of tank/metal/steel construction or in a similar field as well as initial management experience are an advantage
• Experience in the Ex area an advantage
• Experience with handling LAU systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel / Word / Outlook)
• High degree of self-organization and time management
• Ability to work in a team, decisiveness and analytical thinking skills
• Assembly readiness is a prerequisite
• Good knowledge of German, basic knowledge of English is an advantage
• Valid class B driver's license
