Welding engineer as quality manager

Your TASKS

• Quality management, further development of quality management, including the integration of new requirements
• Audits and certifications, preparation and support of certification and customer audits
• Management and renewal of welding procedure qualifications, welding procedure specifications and welding products
• Professional monitoring and evaluation of welding site processes through to the evaluation and management of NDT results
• Preparation of the necessary welding process documentation and quality certificates
• Welding supervision of construction sites in plant construction from planning to acceptance
• Professional exchange with monitoring organizations and specialist departments of our customers
• Training, further development and qualification of our welding personnel
• Carrying out process developments and optimizations

Your profile

• Completed studies, preferably in civil engineering or mechanical engineering
• Additional qualification as a welding engineer (IWE)
• Ideally several years of professional experience in pipeline and plant construction
• Independent, goal-oriented work combined with strong communication skills and the ability to be a team player, flexible and able to work under pressure
• Experience / knowledge in the field of tank systems / tank farms desirable
• Willingness to travel on a daily basis within Germany and neighboring countries, class B driver's license
• Confident handling of MS Office (especially Word, Excel and MS Project)
• Good written and spoken English skills desirable
